What are essential oils?

Essential oils are the fragrant plant materials within different plant cells, extracted by a physical process, such as steam distillation, from the plant. Essential oils are more potent than dried herbs and they are the ultimate in natural healthcare. Ancient Egyptians, Chinese medicine and the Indian science of Ayurveda relied upon the power of essential oils from plants to maintain the health of the mind and body.

Each essential oil contains hundreds of antibacterial, anti viral natural constituents that have the ability to enter the body through the olfactory system.

They are easily absorbed through the skin, and can benefit the nerve and lymphatic system.

Essential oils have more to offer than just smelling good – essential oils have therapeutic, psycho-emotional and energetic effects.

I believe in the power that scents have and the way they affect our mind and body, and I made these combinations of essential oils because of the therapeutic and aromatic properties they have. I use exclusively therapeutic essential oils to make aromatherapy candles.

Naia Blanka candles are made from natural products and therefore safer to use than candles made from different types of waxes and synthetic scents, but keep in mind that essential oils are highly concentrated and need to be careful when used near children or pets. .

Pregnant women and epileptics should avoid some types of essential oils. The risks of using such candles are far lower than when it comes to using essential oils in diffusers, but if you are not sure if they are safe for you, it is best to consult a doctor. If you are allergic to some of the foods / plants that some of the essential oils are made from, do not use a candle that contains such oils.
